Arizona: Nations and Art

A photographic journey of Arizona`s tribal lands & people

The idea was to create an educational and inspirational book for kids between 1st and 4th grade which is fun to read. Inspired by former Governor Napolitano`s "Book`s for kids" programm the "One dollar for literacy" foundation gives books to all 1st to 4th graders every year. Upon this date over 200.000 books have been distributed to Arizona children.

"An important tool for native and non-native, alike. A wonderful read, a snapshot of Arizona`s native americans, highlighting the history and showing that children are the same everywhere."

Ronald Maldonado, Supervisory Archeologist

"There was never before such a definitive work for children on Arizona`s native american contributions. It´s a long overdue primer for adults, as well."
